Your newborn's skin deserves better than ordinary cotton
We spent months looking for the best fabric for newborns. After testing organic cotton, modal, tencel — we came back to bamboo. Every time. For the same reasons.
Natural thermoregulation
Bamboo fibre absorbs and wicks away moisture 3× faster than cotton. Your newborn stays at the right temperature, summer and winter. Less overheating, less sweating, fewer night wakings.
Extreme softness
Bamboo microfibres are naturally round, with no rough edges. The feel is comparable to silk. For a newborn's skin — 5× thinner than an adult's — every bit of friction counts.
Naturally antibacterial
Bamboo contains a natural substance that inhibits bacterial growth. Fewer bacteria means less odour, less skin irritation, less risk for your newborn's ultra-sensitive skin.
Bamboo vs Cotton vs Synthetic
The most demanding certification for newborn textiles
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 tests more than 100 harmful substances. It's the global benchmark for textiles in contact with newborn skin.
Every M!LK batch is certified. No compromise. No exceptions.

Is bamboo really better than organic cotton for newborns?
Yes. Bamboo is naturally thermo-regulating, antibacterial and 3× softer. Organic cotton is pesticide-free but lacks these functional properties — a decisive advantage for a newborn's ultra-sensitive skin.
Does bamboo shrink in the wash?
Our M!LK products are pre-washed to prevent shrinking. A wash at 30°C max, gentle cycle, keeps the shape and softness indefinitely.
Is bamboo environmentally sustainable?
Yes — bamboo grows without pesticides, regenerates naturally within months and uses 30% less water than cotton.
Can I machine-wash M!LK clothing?
Yes, machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle. Avoid fabric softener. Drying flat is recommended.
